I want to start this post by saying
Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow!

It was a gloomy, cold afternoon when Ryan and I decided we need a little 'R n R' before the holidays started. When we realized the forecast said it was going to snow (in November?!), we decided, "OK we need some fun in the sun". At first we decided to go to the Bahamas -  but since we could only get away for a few days bc of work, we decided that an all inclusive resort in Mexico would be a better option - so we didn't have to worry about anything.

We started looking at the resorts we stayed at on our last trips to Mexico, but when we came across Catalonia Resort in Riviera Maya - the pictures and the amenities sod us! The resort was spectacular and upgrading to "PRIVILEGED" (Their VIP program) sure did have its perks; like a private beach & beach bar (this def helped us relaxed since the private beach was less crowded), the best tables in the restaurants and of course, the fabulous room!

We didn't really do any excursions this time, since we've been to Mexico before and the whole purpose for this quick getaway was just to relax and obvies drink endless margaritas! ;) It was a fab week doing absolutely nothing! We basically slept all day on the beach, ate and drank pretty much the whole entire time! 

On one of the days my cheesy boyfriend surprised me with a spa day  (an hr massage, steam room, hot tub, and reserved a pool just for us for an hr) such a good bf!  Even better for being such a good sport and waking up at 5am (twice! On Vacation) to watch the sunrise w/ me (Thanks Ryan)! I'd been wanting to watch the beauty of sunrise by the sea for a while now - so I made no excuses this time and actually got up to see it! And OMG it was oh so worth it! #AMAZE!

Even though this getaway was short and quick - totally happy I got to relax and have some fun in the sun with my love.
